Consumer Ombudsman
The Consumer Ombudsman represents a second instance for evaluating complaints and can make recommendations to the insurance company free-of-charge on behalf of the claimant.
The Consumer Ombudsman evaluates complaints submitted to him or her within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of the receipt. This period can be extended to 45 days in particularly complex cases.
The Ombudsman is responsible for assessing the complaints submitted to him/her by the policyholders and beneficiaries of BBVA Insurance, in accordance with the criteria and procedures established in the respective Customer Ombudsman Service Regulations.
